I did get worked into my regular doctor’s office yesterday but could not get my own.  You just take who you can get and be grateful.  He x-rayed to see if I had a hairline fracture (I knew I didn’t but who am I to argue..especially when I have a not-too-happy seeming doctor).  I did not have a break of any sort.  So, he thought it was a soft tissue injury i.e. severe sprain or strain that needs time.  I am deathly allergic to aspirin and ibuprofen..anything like those, so that I must always take acetaminophen instead.  Therefore he prescribed a pain killer that actually works so well that my chronic back pain even feels better.  While I like the relief from pain, I am loathe to take those because I don’t want to get used to feeling decently pain free as the medication that helped is not good for a person to get used to.
Someone sent me an interesting list.  I will share it with you all as it’s good information.  I don’t know how it will "come out" here on the blog and I am too lazy to re-type all of it, so I will apologize in advance if it is ew-glee.
