Last night was fun here at my blog house. We had a party goin’ on right here…we celebrated and had a good time to paraphrase the words of Kool and the Gang’s "Celebrate".. 
Nine of us attended. I always have said in my blog that if we in the blog family lived in the same town…we’d all be together for a party every week and surely the police would be called. Especially with Shelly out there blowing the horn of the car!!! I got to be silly and that is something I don’t get to do much.

I am going to start in my closet and remove those things I keep saving despite common sense and give or throw them away. I hate to because I always think I can be that narrow again. Not gonna happen. Then I have a little cabinet where I keep (mostly T shirts and very casual tops..maybe some of my 46 pairs of jeans. I may like this or that T shirt but if I am not wearing it after all this time, I won’t in the future. Have to be brutal as I am short on room. When I had things hanging on the backs of the bedroom doors for lack of room..time to clean out again. Sadly, I am such a clothes horse that every closet in this house is full of my clothes. Not to mention dresser drawers in other rooms.
I am not having a good hair day (it is raining to beat the band) but I certainly smell great. I got in an order for a hair gloss from Sephora yesterday and there were 3 samples of upscale perfumes. Yum. I love fragrance and mine are usually the $$ ones. One of my few indulgences. I like to try new ones occasionally but when they are costly, you can’t afford a mistake so the samples are good to have. I have Prada on for a test drive today.
It’s supposed to rain heavily all day and turn to a little snow tonight..ending at 0400 tomorrow. Nothing but heavy snow showers. No accumulation here where I am. But outlying areas..they will have from 2 inches upward.

So far my day hasn\’t been very productive so I think I should probably quit procrastinating and head to the bathroom and start cleaning. YUCK!!The sun is shining here but I know you need the rain. Tomorrow your hair will be having a good day again.

I pulled everything from my closet yesterday and wondered why I have 12 white t-shirts I would never wear outside the house. And that\’s only the white ones! But 46 pairs of jeans, man I thought I had too many, lol. Sis and I exchange half used perfume since we get bored with it. Have a great day!Wendy
What size are these clothes your getting rid of, I love free stuff, and if it is coming from a diva it is sure to be good lol. Last nights party was fun, and I am still sporting last nights hair just up. I have a splurge to and it is hair products. I am a shampoo snob. I ran out of good stuff just before Thanksgiving and had to use cheap crap til we went to the shop on black friday (I never pay full price). I almost went crazy with that cheap stuff, my scalp itched like crazy. My niece used to pick on me for being a shampoo snob til I bought her some high end dandruff shampoo and now she completely understands. Good morning…Once a week if we lived in the same neighborhood. Shoot!!! I would be over every morning for coffee. Early too!!! I had to have my son at school at 6:30 am this morning for football strength training. Yeah…That’s what we all need to see… A picture of Zippy in her bath robe, slippers, and bed head hair. I’d be willing to bet Miss Catt has bed head in the morning???Oh my!!! Forty six pairs of jeans…You need 14-16 more than you could wear two pair a day.I cleaned out my closet last month and have everything packed neatly. That reminds me to call the Branson Church Army. They assist young men to get back on their feet and take donations. I have some nice clothes for those guys.It has been too cold here in Ozarks for the last two days for my bodies liking. It even snowed in Houston, Texas yesterday. Fortunately, we will have a few days in the mid- fifties this weekendand I never like my heating bill this time of year.Any sweet rolls in the kitchen???I’m having a bad hair today too…Not!!! Just looks the same everyday with another strand or two of grey.Productive day…I should get to work on that. Housing association meeting tomorrow. Yuk!!! Listen to people whine about little stuff when so many are struggling this year.I have a question…Can we still get blog updates from our friends??? I so wish that I was as thin as you, I think you are probably taller than me (most 5th graders are) I\’m 5\’2 and I\’m desperate in the Jean Dept. this year and I\’ve got no funds. When we moved, I cleaned my closet, etc – had been putting if off for years. My closet was so full, I found several shirts with price tags still attached! Opium and Nina Ricci – that\’s mine! Being silly keeps ya young! I\’ve never been able to figure out why Shelly likes to sit on that horn! Hugs

A party? Where the heck was I? Probably in bed. So your cleaning out clothes. If there\’s x-large shirts send them my way I\’ll pay for postage! Rainy days is never good for hair I think. Sounds like the rain is staying awhile huh? Better than snow I say. Have a good night my friend.
Aw..party…I missed it, darn! Just too wrapped up in work and getting cards and letter written I missed a good time.We have had snow, sleet, ice and rain this week. Such mixed up weather. I have jeans I don\’t wear anymore in my closet too, all different sizes, only two pair fit well and two so-so. The rest are way to big now since I lost weight. Don\’t now what I\’d do the 46 pairs! I\’d only have to do laundry every month or two. I purge my closet/drawers about twice a year. One trick I learned and just started this fall is to turn all the hangers the wrong way. As you wear an item put it back in with the hanger the right way. After a year you will know what you wear or don\’t wear. Any hangers not turned around you haven\’t worn so should purge from you closet. I thought this was a great idea so will find out next fall what I hadn\’t worn in a year and get rid of it.Have a great weekend Carole!Hugs, Faye
lol @ Shelley\’s comment down there and the 46 pairs of jeans….but that is a lot of jeans. Wouldn\’t it be great if we could have party with all our MSN friends. I know a couple years ago…friends that were on my list and have moved on to GOd only knows where use to meet up at certain points one time a year…usually a center point and either camp or meet at a Hotel conference or in Las Vegas…and have a great weekend visiting. You have me in the mood to do our \’Thelma and Louise\’ tour after reading about your "good time". Imagine all of us getting together, traveling down the highway, in a long line of cars, and congregating at a particular spot. Good hair, delightful friends, delicious food, and our critters along for the fun. Miss Catt could have a "Camp David" style meeting with her cabinet and visitors.
