Oh! My legs. I have just returned from weeding the upper flower bed. The bulbs are coming up in there and they were choked out by weeds almost. Some pansies are still flourishing but the wild grasses are in there and taking over. I did the treadmill thing and then went up there with my gardening fork and scoop and the old bin from the old recycle program. It’s full! And my legs..on the insides are wibbily wopbbily for just now. I was doing the duck walk all around the flower bed and every few waddles I had to stop and pull and dig. Made my way around like that all the way. When I stood..for once it wasn’t my back..it was my inner legs. They are better already as they just had to get used to the squatting i was doing for so long.
Now this was once since I had my hair cut that I’m glad I did. Nothing swinging into my face and clouding my vision or hanging down my back like a hot curtain. I did put one each clip on either side however against any part of my hair do that may have decided to show me I will never get over the hair in the face routine.
I had a blog in here but deleted it. It was about Dancing With the Stars tonight. You’ll have to watch with me..otherwise who will I complain to???
I will be making uo the cat’s dose of oral meds in a few minutes if she is finished sleeping for awhile, She always takes a long leisurely nap after exhausting herself sleeping all night. . I saved the tips I got for pill type meds in a little file I have on her. This time she has oral meds which are also hard to get down if they don’t want to do it. I tricked her into some yesterday with tuna juice. I pitched the sardines as a no-go.
Other than that..this is going to be a sunny 74 degree day and man, I am going to make something out of that. Wish we could all go. Hey, this summer I want to take my passport that the National Parks give you,and get more stamps in it. Wanna go? If the gas prices don’t rise too much, I’ll do the drivin’.
Go pay it forward today…
I can almost feel your pain lol. Glad your legs didn\’t say sore.Oh I\’m all for getting more national park stamps. I\’ll do the riding!!!HugsSherry
I think that is the only thing to not look forward to in spring is wibbly wobbly legs, lol. Heard the first cardinals today when I went for ink. It sounded so good. National Pard stamps. What a good idea.
Oh my legs are hurting just thinking about it. LOL I do not look forward to clearing out my rhubarb patch, it isn\’t too bed really as it was covered with leaves all winter, it is just untidy and I will be able to do it with the rake more or less. I am not going to be doing any planting with taking off with the trailer I don\’t like to have to depend on my neighbours to do it. As long as they watch the house and bring in the mail, I will be happy. Oh yes I will be watching Dancing With The Stars, I wouldn\’t miss it, one of my fav shows.Glad you got some medicine into her Highness there, hopefully she will keep doing better and you can trick her again. We hope to head out to Edmonton, Alberta sometime in the latter part of May or early June. I am so looking forward to it as is my hubby too. It has been a long winter and we are anxious to hit the road.Well my dear I am off to the store to get some dry mustard, my hubby wants me to make some salad dressing today that his Mothet used to make years ago. He loves it so I better get going. Have a great day………………..Rusty ((HUGS))
Well, bring your National Park Pass here and get a tour of Glacier and Yellowstone. I\’ll intrduce you to Mr. Bison not in the zoo and maybe a bear or two, LOL!Love ya,Al
My back is hurting now that you mentioned flower beds. Mine are such a mess. It has turned cold here again so no putzin\’ around outside today. I am not a Dancing With the Stars fan but I hope that the ones you want to win will do so.
I woke up to a skiff of snow this morning. Light flurries still coming down. No gardening for us just yet. The temps are supposed to dip for the rest of the week to well below freezing.Didn\’t realize Miss Catt was unwell. Hopefully you will be able to keep tricking her with the meds. Poor Baby….pray she recovers soon.Love your new Hairdo. I watched a family video from two years ago…where I had short hair. I think I will keep mine long….didn\’t particularily like it short. My hair gets too curly and unruly when it is short. At least when it is long it is weighted down, remains reasonably straight and I have the option of tying it back if need be.Just checked out temp…it is 24 degree Fahrenheit…supposed to dip down to 13 for the next few days…..oh how long for spring!!Have a wonderful day Carole(((Hugs)))Karin
Hi there.I loved your blog today. I am currently looking for your email address so I can write you and fill you in on Callie. Hugs to you,Terri
I\’m sure the pains will be worth it when everything comes to bloom. I\’m watching it snow again so it won\’t be anytime soon for me. Good luck with Mz cat getting those meds down, I use to have to swaddle my cat in a towel or blanket and wrench her mouth open, not so fun but she forgave me … eventually.
OMG, I couldn\’t duck walk in the flower bed if I had to! I don\’t watch DWTS – never have! For the past week we\’ve had temps in the lower 80s but by Wednesday the rain\’s coming in and the highs will be in the 50s. Hopefully, this will be our last cold spell! Good luck with Miss Catt and her meds. Hugs
Sleeping can be exhausting. I ready to go to wherever you\’re talking about. I like it when the parks have swings.
It\’s a bee-u-ti-ful day here today too. Unfortunately they\’re calling for rain the rest of the week with lows in the 30\’s again. Ahhh!!!!I don\’t watch DWTS but I would like to tune in long enough to see Melissa from The Bachelor. I hope she kicks butt! heheOh and the new show Castle comes on afterward. I will have my buns planted firmly on the couch cushion. 🙂
74 degrees? Something we can only dream about for another two months….and its below zero and is supposed to be snowing the next few days. I\’ve never used oral drops with any of the kitties, other than the ear kind, and hope you can get Miss Catt to keep taking them. Sounds good on the park touring idea. How about we take turns with the gas and meals?
You know what causes Wibbly wobbly legs don\’t you??/ Cleaning out flower beds!! How I know this is because I have wibblywobbly legs too. LOL I think we tend to over do when the weather warms up. Mine aren\’t too sore today, maybe bowling tonight will get rid of the rest!! have a good evening. Hugs, pat
Thanks for the DWTS reminder. I really didn\’t know it started tonight. I\’ll be there watching with ya.
74? LOL, I don\’t even know what that feels like at this point! I wouldn\’t be surprised if Lizzie-Beth is exactly right about it being two months before that shows up! The cold does a great job of weeding…wait actually nothing is growing yet!
I AM WATCHING DANCING WITH THE STARS NOW!!! 🙂 Much to talk about tomorrow!
I agree 74 we can only dream!! We wont be weeding here for months!! LOL ANYWAY.. watched 24 tonight so DWTS will have to wait I am afraid.. sorry bout that! I will catch up later with it.. : )
Open cat\’s mouth and insert pill as far back as you can and hold the mouth shut while rubbing gentlythe throat for her response to swallow. Of course she may never sleep near you again.I could feel your pain reading of the duck walk around the garden. Any pictures of your flowers?
