As my fellow Tennesseans know, this started now ten days ago..still going strong and will thru the rest of the week and weekend. There are flood watches and warnings. I am up so high here where I live that that has never been a concern. If I want to go into certain areas in town however, I know which ones are prone to flood.
Smiling here..I knew that if you didn’t understand my short one liner blog last night, then you didn’t ever watch the program. So..no need to be specific. Still don’t understand that as I would have thought her fan base would have kept her there, not withstanding her excellent dancing.
I need to get on the treadmill. I haven’t had my "gruel" yet and the sooner I get up there and do my duty, the sooner I can have my oatmeal and raisins.
Miss Catt has an appointment for Thursday at 1000 to be tested for possible thyroid problems. As the Vet said on the phone a few days ago..if she had to have something, this is easier on her as it is treatable. She spends a lot of time at the water bowls so I can hardly wait as I know she is not herself.
OH! I just thought of something to take a picture of later if I remember. It will be different (for offerings from me, that is) for certain.
Have the best of days..keep looking forward. You know what happens when you look down..you bump into stuff.

We are to have rain beginning tonight for the next 2 days. It has been beautiful here the last few days.Praying that Miss Catt gets a good diagnosis and is soon her old self.Hugs,Beth
I hope Miss Cat will be ok. Its so dry here , I had to water some trees and some of my plants that are just coming up out off the ground. We have had a few fires around us. Everyone in a a big town were asked to leave. That fire last I heard was getting contained but with the high winds we had yesterday the smoke traveled and it traveled miles right though my Farm and beyond.
Here\’s hoping Miss Catt\’s problem is a minor one. Not wanting any flooding in your area. Praying. I was totally shocked when I woke this morning and found out who was voted off. Just not right.Hugs
Storming here – yet again! We haven\’t seen the sun in well over a week! I\’ll be having a haircut tomorrow while Miss Catt is at the vet. Will sure be thinking about her and praying for the best. Hugs

Rain like that would be enough to wear most out I think. We don\’t usually get that much rain especially all in a row like that. I don\’t think I\’d do well with it…yet I don\’t think you\’d like to have our miserable cold either! Fortunately right now it\’s in the sixties and I don\’t mind that too much. Just think how nice and green everything will be when the rain stops. We are gearing up for our rainy and high wind season here. In the high mountaian valleys of NW Montana, we don\’t have tornadoes, but we get micro-bursts that do untold damage to trees and homes.Love ya!!
Hope all this rain is filling up the reservoirs etc that got so dried up a couple years ago. I know it takes a long time for this to happen. Wishing the best for Miss Catt at her appointment tomorrow.

We had a bunch of rain, which we needed, but 10+ inches of rain in as many hours is just not the way to get it. So, we\’re still in need of rain but the reservoir is filled to the brim!
We have had a lot of rain off and on with just a few sunny days inbetween and are still expecting days of rain. But as long as the rain comes in the morning and at night and the afternoons are nice that is good enough for me. It is nice for the tomato plants though !!!That is why i love the screened in porch, even if its raining we can all still be outside and there is just something about the sound of rain and the smell of the air. So all is good.Hope you have a great dayBeth
